TARA SIVEC DOES IT AGAIN!

DAMMIT. SHE MADE ME SHED BUCKET OF TEARS FOR "WISH YOU WERE MINE" AND NOW WITH "FISHER'S LIGHT" AND WHY IS THE AUTHOR SO GOOD WITH SECOND CHANCES ROMANCE?! GOOD GOSH!

Tears, for the love of carrots- calm down now so I can get on with this review. *sniffs*

It's never easy for these brave men to go out there and fight for their country and leaving their families behind, but a duty is a duty and Jefferson Fisher responded well with duty and responsibilities as a Marine.

For fourteen years throughout their marriage, Jefferson Fisher has been deployed five times at war, a piece of him breaking each time he comes home to his wife. But Lucy wasn't just any woman- she was a Marine's wife. A strong woman willing to fight those demons along with her husband.

But dealing with demons face-to-face rips you APART, along with your family.

Fisher's Light tells us a story of battles within the field and within ourselves; the story teaches us that in life, we have to make certain decisions that can either help us move forward or take us two steps back. Fisher and Lucy- the mere example of forgiveness and home.

You have to know your battles.
Know when to fight, when to let go.
There are battles that will take you elsewhere- away.
But there are battles near you as well.
Certain battles that will remind you why you've been fighting IN THE FIRST PLACE.

"I just want her to be happy. I want her to smile easily and laugh often. I see her doing it with that fuckwad across the bar, but I don't care. I know it's selfish and I know it's weak, but I don't fucking care. If I were a better man I would walk away, leave this island and never look back. I would let her have this happiness that she deserves even if it killed everything inside of me. Too bad, I'm not a better man. It should be me. It was always me and it's still going to be me, dammit."

Swoon-worthy, Mr. Fisher. I'm on your side! Wooooh, go get your woman back! Go get your Lucy back!

I love this story. I love this book! Another favorite of mine to be added to my collection.

Oh, Tara Sivec... keep making heart-shattering second chances romance books!
